Today was the day we said goodbye to almost everything we own. At around 14:00 they came and picked up all our household goods. Over time, we got rid of about 60% of what we own and packed the rest up in 3 pallets and a couch on another pallet.
This was a really scary moment, it's not everyday that you hand over everything you own to a stranger for it to be shipped over the Atlantic. According to the schedule we should be able to pick up our stuff on January 7th 2007. Fingers crossed nothing breaks.
